THE LODGE
Lewa Wildlife Conservancy sums up as a vital wildlife corridor connecting Kenya’s wild and arid north with the lush Mount Kenya ecosystem. Elusive leopard and wild dog sightings, and families of elephant have carved Sirikoi into their migratory routes and almost daily, big herds can be seen just in front of the Sirikoi deck for hours at a time
Days are as action-packed or as rejuvenating as desired. One of the joys of Sirikoi is the busy waterhole right in front of the main deck, making it possible to see an array of wildlife without even leaving the lodge – “armchair game-viewing” is a defining feature of this lodge. Watch the wildlife pass by from one of the Lewa hides or horse ride among the wildlife across the plains, or take quad bike safaris for the day or overnight.
