DAY O1:

STANDARD : MOUNTAINS OF THE MOON

SUPERIOR: KYANINGA LODGE

Early morning pick-up form Entebbe/Kampala Hotel or Kampala International Airport to commence your drive to Kibale National Park (approx.05 hours) to the northwest.

Arrive at the Lodge in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, enjoy a nature walk in Bigodi Wetland- a birds' paradise with more than 200 bird species.

Dinner nd overnight at the Lodge.

DAY O2:

STANDARD : MWEYA SAFARI LODGE

SUPERIOR : KYAMBURA GORGE LODGE

After an early breakfast, transfer to the ranger headquarters at 08.00 hrs in Kibale Forest National Park to track habituated Chimps.

After a briefing by the rangers, commence your Chimp trek (takes between 02-05 hours).

Contact time with these primates is limited to 01 hour.

After the tracking, inmediately commence your journey to the northern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park - aprox. 03 hours drive.

Lunch will be picnic to allow game veiwing immediately on entering the park en route to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

DAY O3:

STANDARD : BUHOMA COMMUNITY HAVEN LODGE / SILVER BACK LODGE

SUPERIOR : SANCTUARY GORILLA FOREST CAMP

Breakfast at the lodge.

At 11:00 hrs, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel - this excursion is the best mode of game veiwing in Queen Elizabeth National Park, as this is the time when most animals arrive at the river to drink.

After the boat cruise, at around 13:00 hrs, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - Buhoma Sector aprox. 05 hrs. drive

The drive will take you through the Ishasha Sector, in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park, popular for the tree climbing lions - hopefully you will be lucky to see some!!!

Lunch will be a picnic along the way.

Arrive Buhoma area at dusk for dinner and overnight.

DAY O4:

STANDARD : BUHOMA COMMUNITY HAVEN LODGE / SILVER BACK LODGE

SUPERIOR : SANCTUARY GORILLA FOREST CAMP

After an early breakfast, transfer to Buhoma headquarters for registration with the Uganda Wildlife Authority.

After a briefing by the rangers, commence your Gorilla trek (takes between 03 - 06 hours).

Return to the Lodge for a late lunch.

Remainder of the afternoon at leisure, dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

DAY O5:

STANDARD : RWAKOBO ROCK LODGE

SUPERIOR : MIHINGO LODGE

After breakfast, depart for Lake Mburo National Park (approx. 260 km - 06hours drive)

Arrive at the Lodge in time for a late lunch.

Late afternoon game veiwing at Lake Mburo National Park.

Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

DAY O6:

After breakfast, return drive to Kampala / Entebbe – approx. 255 Km, 05 hrs. drive

Upon arrival at around noon, drop off at the airport for your departure flight.
