FRIDAY: NAIROBI – LAKE NAIVASHA

At 14:00hrs commence your safari, driving due west out of Nairobi, ascending to the edge of the Great Rift Valley, for a dramatic and panoramic descent, down the Great Rift Valley escarpment, to the floor below.

Make a photographic stop at a view point, before the descent:

Continue along the Rift Valley Floor to Lake Naivasha.

Late afternoon spent at leisure /for optional activities such as boat ride, golfing and visit to Crescent Island (payable directly).

Dinner and overnight at GREAT RIFTVALLEY LODGE.

SATURDAY: LAKE NAIVASHA – MAASAI MARA

Breakfast at the club, depart for the famous Masai Mara National Reserve, driving along the Rift Valley floor, via Mai Mahiu Town, where you turn left towards the Maasai Mara – going past Narok Town (the Maasai Capital).

Arrive in time for lunch at KEEKOROK LODGE, located in the heart of Maasai Mara National Reserve, on the Eastern side of the large Mara eco-system.

After lunch, commence game viewing drive in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, generally acclaimed as the finest game viewing area in the world!!!

Later head to ZEBRA PLAINS MARA CAMP for dinner and overnight.

SUNDAY: MAASAI MARA

Morning and late afternoon game viewing drive/alternatively full day game viewing with packed lunch.

All meals and overnight at ZEBRA PLAINS MARA.

MONDAY: MAASAI MARA – NAIROBI

Breakfast at the Lodge and thereafter depart for Nairobi.

Upon arrival at around midday transferred to the hotel.

Rest of the day at leisure.

At 18:30 hrs, transferred to Carnivore restaurant for a welcome Kenya dinner – a typical Nyama Choma (barbecued meat) – ‘beast of a feast’ affair.

Thereafter return transfer to the EKA for overnight.

TUESDAY: NAIROBI - AMBOSELI

Breakfast at the hotel.

At 08:00 Hrs, commence drive due south of Nairobi, along the Nairobi/Mombasa Highway for the first 125 KM (02 hrs drive) before turning due East towards Mount Kilimanjaro.

The drive thence is through typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colourful Masai herdsmen grazing their cattle.

Arrive at the Camp/Lodge in time for lunch. the afternoon.

At 15:00 hrs head out for your first game viewing drive in the Amboseli National park.

Dinner and overnight at ZEBRA PLAINS AMBOSELI CAMP / OLTUKAI LODGE.

WEDNESDAY: AMBOSELI – NAMANGA - ARUSHA - TARANGIRE

Dawn game viewing drive with a chance to catch the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro at its spectacular best – weather permitting!

Return to the Lodge for breakfast.

At 09:00 hrs, exit the Park and drive towards the border town of Namanga to arrive at around 10:30hrs.

After customs and immigration formalities, change vehicle and continue to Tanzania.

Arrive in time for lunch at a hotel in Arusha.

At 14:00 hrs, depart Arusha and drive towards Tarangire National Park.

On entrance to the Park, commence game viewing drive to culminate in TARANGIRE SOPA LODGE for dinner and overnight.

THURSDAY: TARANGIRE – SERENGETI

Distance: 330 KM / Driving Time: 7 hours.

After an early breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park.

Lunch will be a picnic so as to commenece game viewing immediately upon entering the Park.

Arrive at SERENGETI SOPA LODGE located in central Serengeti in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

FRIDAY: SERENGETI

Full day of game veiwing at Serengeti National Park.

During the rainy season, migration herds are found on almost all the wide Plains of the Park.

This day you have 02 choices:

Full day game veiwing with picnic lunch boxes.

OR

Sunrise and sunset game drives returning to the Lodge for lunch.

In Serengeti you will have the opportunity to sight the big: the lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino.

All meals and overnight at SERENGETI SOPA LODGE.

SATURDAY: SERENGETI – NGORONGORO

Early Breakfast at the Lodge.

Depart for Ngorongoro Conservation area to arrive at 10:30 hrs, on arrival descend to the bottom of the crater for a crater tour.

A truly unique wildlife experience.

Lunch will be picnic.

In the afternoon, ascend the crater for dinner and overnight in NGORONGORO SOPA LODGE.

SUNDAY: NGORONGORO – ARUSHA

Breakfast at the Camp.

Exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and drive to Arusha.

On arrival, drop off at the your Arusha Hotel / Airport.
