THURSDAY: NAIROBI – ABERDARE

At 08:30 hrs commence drive out of the City, heading to Nyeri, traversing the scenic and agricultural rich Central highlands of Kenya, awash with pineapple, tea and coffee plantations.

Arrive in time for lunch at the Aberdare Country Club.

Afternoon transfer to The Ark Lodge (in Club vehicles) for an evening and night of game viewing from the Lodge precincts.

Dinner and overnight at THE ARK LODGE.

FRIDAY: ABERDARE - LAKE NAKURU

After breakfast at the Ark return transfer to the Aberdare Country Club, where you re-join your Safari driver/guide and depart for the Lake Nakuru National Park, with a brief visit/stop at Thompson Falls in Nyahururu.

Arrive at your Lodge in time for Lunch.

Late afternoon game drive at the Park, where you are almost guaranteed sighting of white rhinos and the African Buffalos!

Dinner and overnight at SAROVA LION HILL LODGE.

SATURDAY: LAKE NAKURU – MAASAI MARA

After breakfast, depart at 07:30 hrs.’ for the world famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, driving along the Rift Valley floor, via Mai Mahiu Town, where you turn left towards the Maasai Mara – going past Narok Town (the Maasai Capital).

Arrive at Sarova Mara Camp in time for lunch.

Afternoon game viewing drive (at 16:00 hrs) in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, generally acclaimed as the finest game viewing area in the world!

Return to the camp at sunset, for dinner and overnight at SAROVA MARA CAMP.

SUNDAY: MAASAI MARA

Morning and late afternoon game viewing drive with lunch back at the Lodge.

Alternatively full day game viewing with packed lunch.

All meals and overnight at SAROVA MARA CAMP.

MONDAY: MAASAI MARA - NAIROBI

Breakfast at the Lodge and thereafter depart for Nairobi.

Upon arrival at around midday transferred to the hotel.

Rest of the day at leisure.

At 18:30 hrs, transferred to Carnivore restaurant for a welcome Kenya dinner – a typical Nyama Choma (barbecued meat) – ‘beast of a feast’ affair.

Thereafter return transfer to the SAROVA PANAFRIC for overnight.

TUESDAY: NAIROBI – AMBOSELI

Breakfast at the hotel.

At 08:00 Hrs, commence drive due south of Nairobi, along the Nairobi/Mombasa Highway for the first 125 KM (02 hrs drive) before turning due East towards Mount Kilimanjaro.

The drive thence is through typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colourful Maasai herdsmen grazing their cattle.

On entrance to the Park, Game viewing en route to your Lodge, located at the centre of the Park, for lunch.

In the afternoon, further game viewing drive in this park which is one of the best in Africa to spot large herds of Elephants up close, with the immense grandeur of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, as a picturesque background.

Dinner and overnight at OLTUKAI LODGE.

WEDNESDAY: AMBOSELI – NAMANGA – ARUSHA – TARANGIRE

Breakfast at the hotel.

Dawn game viewing drive with a chance to catch the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro at its spectacular best – weather permitting!

Return to the Lodge for breakfast.

At 09:00 hrs, exit the Park and drive towards the border town of Namanga to arrive at around 10:30hrs.

After customs and immigration formalities, change vehicle and continue to Tanzania.

Arrive in time for lunch at a hotel in Arusha.

At 14:00 hrs, depart Arusha and drive towards Tarangire National Park.

On entrance to the Park commence game viewing drive to culminate in TARANGIRE SOPA LODGE for dinner and overnight.

THURSDAY: TARANGIRE - SERENGETI

After an early breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park.

Lunch will be a picnic so as to commenece game viewing immediately upon entering the Park.

Arrive at SERENGETI SOPA LODGE located in central Serengeti in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight

FRIDAY: SERENGETI

Full day of game veiwing at Serengeti National Park.

During the rainy season, migration herds are found on almost all the wide Plains of the Park.

This day you have 02 options:

Full day game veiwing with picnic lunch boxes.

OR

Sunrise and sunset game drives returning to the Lodge for lunch.

All meals and overnight at SERENGETI SOPA LODGE.

SATURDAY: SERENGETI – NGORONGORO

Breakfast at the Lodge, and thereafter head out for further game viewing drive in Serengeti National Park.

Return to the Lodge for lunch.

At 14:00hrs, depart Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Arrive at the lodge located at the edge of the crater in the late afternoon where you can enjoy the phenomenal view of the crater below – weather permitting.

Dinner and overnight at NGORONGORO SOPA LODGE.

SUNDAY: NGORONGORO (CRATER TOUR) – KARATU

Early Breakfast at the Lodge.

Descend to the bottom of the Crater for a morning crater tour.

A truly unique wildlife experience.

Lunch will either be picnic or back at the Camp.

After the Crater tour, exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and drive to the adjacent Karatu Highlands for dinner and overnight at KARATU SIMBA LODGE.

MONDAY: KARATU – ARUSHA - DEPART

Leisurely breakfast at the Lodge.

Remainder of the morning free for optional activities within Lake Manyara or mto wa Mbu area

(Excursions at an additional cost).

At 11:00 hrs, commence your return drive to Arusha to arrive at around 13:00hrs.

Drop Off at your Arusha Hotel / Airport.
