WEDNESDAY: NAIROBI – MAASAI MARA

At 07:30 Hrs, collected from your Nairobi Hotel /Joma Kenyatta International Airport.

Commence your safari, driving due west out of Nairobi, ascending to the edge of the Great Rift Valley, for a dramatic and panoramic descent, down the Great Rift Valley escarpment, to the floor below.

Make a photographic stop at a view point, before the descent.

Continue the descent, passing through Mai Mahiu and Narok Town.

Arriving in time for lunch at the Lodge.

Afternoon game viewing drive in the Kenya’s most popular Reserve.

Dinner and overnight at MARA SOPA LODGE.

THURSDAY: MAASAI MARA

Morning and afternoon game viewing drives in the extensive Maasai Mara Game Reserve, if lucky, opportunity to see the big five in one day!!!

In consultation with your drivers / guides, there is an option of a full day game viewing drive with packed lunches, this allows you time to explore greater areas of the reserve without need to return to the Lodge for lunch.

All meals and overnight at MARA SOPA LODGE.

FRIDAY: MAASAI MARA – LAKE NAIVASHA

Breakfast at the Lodge.

Depart and drive towards the shores of Lake Naivasha to arrive just in time for lunch at the Resort.

In the afternoon head out for a 01 Hour boat ride on the Lake.

Dinner and overnight at LAKE NAIVASHA SOPA RESORT.

SATURDAY: NAIVASHA – NBO – AMBOSELI

Early breakfast at the Resort.

After breakfast, depart Naivasha and commenece your drive to Amboseli National Park passing through Nairobi. Continue due South of Nairobi on the Nairobi/Mombasa road for the first 125 KM (02 hours drive) before turning due West towards Mount Kilimanjaro.

The drive thence is through typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colourful Masai herdsmen grazing their cattle.

Arriving in time for lunch at the Lodge.

At 15:30 hrs depart for your first game veiwing in Amboseli National Park which is one of the best in Africa to spot large herds of Elephants up close, with the immense grandeur of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, as a picturesque background.

At sunset, exit the park and return to AMBOSELI SOPA LODGE for dinner and overnight.

SUNDAY: AMBOSELI – NAMANGA – ARUSHA – TARANGIRE

Distance: 345 KM / Driving Time: 6 Hours

Early morning breakfast at the Lodge.

Depart for a brief game viewing drive in Amboseli National Park, after which you will drive toward the Kenya / Tanzania border.

After customs and immigration formalities, change vehicle and continue to Tanzania.

Arrive in time for lunch at a hotel in Arusha.

At 14:00 hours, continue with your journey to Tarngire National Park, famous for its large elephant population.

Upon arrival at the park, commence game viewing drive to culminate in ANG’ATA TARANGIRE CAMP for dinner and overnight.

MONDAY: TARANGIRE – SERENGETI

After an early breakfast at the Camp enjoy a brief game veiwing drive as you exit Tarangire National Park for Serengeti National Park.

On entrance to Serengeti National Park, commence game viewing drive.

Lunch will be picnic.

In the late afternoon arrive at ANG'ATA SERENGETI CAMP located in central Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

TUESDAY: SERENGETI

Full day of game veiwing at Serengeti National Park.

During the rainy season, migration herds are found in almost all the wide Plains of the Park.

This day you have 02 options:

Full day game veiwing with picnic lunch boxes.

OR

Sunrise and sunset game drives returning to the Lodge for lunch.

In Serengeti you will have the opportunity to sight the big: the lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino.

All meals and overnigh at ANG'ATA SERENGETI

WEDNESDAY: SERENGETI – NGORONGORO

After Breakfast, further game viewing this morning to truly appreciate the width and breadth of Serengeti National Park.

Return to the Camp for lunch.

After lunch, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area to arrive at ANGATA NGORONGORO CAMP in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

THURSDAY: NGORONGORO CRATER TOUR – KARATU

Early breakfast at the Camp.

Descend to the bottom of the Crater for a morning crater tour.

A truly unique wildlife experience.

Lunch will either be picnic or back at the Camp.

After the Crater tour, exit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and drive to the adjacent Karatu highlands for dinner and overnight at COUNTRY LODGE / KARATU SIMBA LODGE.

FRIDAY: KARATU – LAKE MANYARA – ARUSHA

After breakfast at the Lodge, depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a game viewing drive.

Thereafter at 11:00 hrs continue to Arusha to arrive in the afternoon.

Lunch will be picnic.

Upon arrival in Arusha, transferred to your Arusha Hotel / Airport.
